We gather as caretakers of our community to cultivate beauty & medicine in our landscape, while having fun and enjoying a wholesome lifestyle.

This project is developed by Giving Tree for a local homestead that has a 40 year history with the current land owner. The intention is establish an atmosphere of skill building, healthy living and support while establishing a vision for gardens, food forests, animal integration and food preservation.
Discover Sanctuary
Blossom Branch Homestead is a co-housing rental community 30 minutes from downtown Asheville, in the Hendersonville area countryside. BBH has a 40 year history of homesteading and gardening. You are invited to contribute to a heritage of wholesome living!
Co-housing is a type of “intentional community” where people make a conscious choice to live together as a group while respecting individual privacy. BBH is a community of small cabins & suites with communal areas and projects shared by all.

Suites & Cabins
The living quarters earn their namesakes from of our garden's flowers & trees. We offer a wide range of Suites & Tiny Cabins to accommodate a diverse community. Our hope is that all members blossom as they contribute to the mandala that is BBH!
BBH has three Suites located in the Main House & two Cabins that share a bath house.

Lease Logistics
First months rent + 1/2 rent as a security deposit required upfront
Rent covers utilities, internet and community land fee that contributes to gardens, building new structures & adding to the land
Suites have access to communal spaces, laundry, kitchen, dining room and outdoor spaces
Cabins have access to communal spaces, laundry and Water Lily for kitchen & bath
All lease agreements are month-to-month, all tenants are asked to provide a 30 days notice prior to move out date
Internet connection is somewhat unreliable for intense internet needs, though adequate for streaming and general use. For those working from home, a hotspot may be needed for reliability.

Pets welcomed on a pet-to-pet basis - main house has 3 older indoor/outdoor cats and landmate has 1 older dog + 1 cat
Not all members here are vaccinated, please take this into consideration prior to applying.
